EU countries could have high energy bills during next few winters

August 30, Fineko/abc.az. The head of the international oil and gas company Royal Dutch Shell, Ben van Beurden, said that European countries could face gas shortages for several winters due to reduced supplies from Russia.

According to ABC.AZ, Beurden noted that there will be several winters when they will have to somehow find solutions through savings on efficiency, through rational use and through the very rapid creation of alternatives.

“Including alternative gas imports and, hopefully, alternative energy sources,” Beurden said.
