November 28, Fineko/abc.az. In 2021, 30,000 programmers left Turkey for abroad.

ABC.AZ reports that Genul Tkemali, chairman of the Association of Software Manufacturers of Turkey (YASAD), noted that this figure could grow to 100,000.

She added that low wages and long working hours are the most important reasons why programmers go abroad.

"While a software development company in Turkey cannot find the financial means to hire a graduate programmer for $1,000, software developers start working in the United States and Europe with a salary of at least $2,500," Kemali said.
