Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov received the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the country Beibit Isabayev.

During the meeting Minister Shahbazov has stated that regular 14th meeting of the Intergovernmental Economic Commission between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will be conducted before the end of the year.

"During the meeting the parties discussed a "roadmap" developed to increase trade turnover and expand trade & economic cooperation in specific spheres and directions. It was suggested to revise the document on the basis of the new proposals and the necessity to organize a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission until the end of 2017," the minister said.

The sides also exchanged views on energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
