Active regime of operation to be introduced on railway during upcoming holidays

June 13, Fineko/abc.az. An increase in passenger traffic is observed during the red-letter days, and many people give preference to rail transport as the most convenient and economical mean of movement.

In this regard, the staff of the Azerbaijan Railways’ Passenger Transport Department will switch to active regime of operation during the Ramadan Holiday (June 14-19).

All forces are mobilized to improve the culture of service in passenger trains. Also, due to the increase in passenger traffic during the holiday, about 15 additional cars will be attached to passenger trains running inside the country every day.

Once again, we remind you that the sale of tickets for passenger trains is carried out 10 days before departure, and for the seats in additional cars – on the day when they are attached to the train.
