July 3, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) is liquidating the consequences of the lack of electricity supply.

The Company reports that despite delays in the movement of regional trains, train Baku-Astara-Goradiz train has already arrived in Baku.

"The Baku-Rostov train was also sent in due time, and train Baku-Moscow arrived in the capital," ADY said.

Traffic of Baku-Sumgait-Baku commuter trains has also been restored. In order to reduce density of passenger traffic on this route, two-group trains will be released on the line twice.

At night from 2 to 3 July, the territory of entire Azerbaijan was de-energized because of the failure of one of the transformers of the Mingachevir hydro-electric power station, the main source of country’s electricity. Power supply has been restored partially.
