GIZ to help Azerbaijan protect ecosystems and manage natural resources

July 11, Fineko/abc.az. The State Agricultural Credit Management Service and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) have signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

The Memo to cover three-year period will enter into force with the start of project "Protection of ecosystems for natural resources management & sustainable development of rural areas in the South Caucasus”.

The Memo purpose is to strengthen the effective and sustainable development of natural resources, protection of biodiversity and important ecological services in the region.

The Memo was signed by SACMS head Mirza Aliyev and GIZ program director Hans-Joachim Lipp.
