A possibility of Total’s involvement in Umid-Babek block project discussed in Paris

July 20, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan met in Paris yesterday with Patrick Jean Pouyanné, chairman and CEO of France’s Total.

Development of fields in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea was discussed during the meeting.

"President Aliyev and Mr. Pouyanné exchanged views on the occasion of gas condensate field Absheron," Azerbaijani President’s official website says.

In addition, a question of Total’s possible participation in the development of Umid-Babek gas fields was covered.
