Azerbaijan Trade House opened in Latvia

July 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Trade House has opened in Riga on July 23.

The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan reports that it will support the promotion of brand "Made in Azerbaijan" in the Latvian market.

"The Trade House also hosts an exhibition of Azerbaijani products, including wines, cognac, vodka, fruit juices, tea, hazelnuts, fruit and vegetables,” the MoE said in a statement.

Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Mammadov said at the opening of the Trade House that its activity will enable to increase trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia.

"Azerbaijan’s total investments in Latvia are estimated at $164 million, while Latvia’s investments in Azerbaijan $84 million. Currently, Azerbaijan is numbering 40 companies with Latvian capital," Mammadov said.

As part of the opening of the Trade House, Azerbaijan's Kaslar LLC and Bina Aqro LLC signed memorandums with Latvian partners on the export of their products to this country.
