Nar reports 24% growth in number of 4G users

August 30, Fineko/abc.az. According to results of the second quarter of 2018, in the course of one year period the number of subscribers using the 4G internet of Nar has grown by 24%.

Today, more than 250,000 subscribers use high-speed 4G service of Nar.

Alongside with the capital, 4G internet of Nar covers other large cities of the country as well. The mobile operator known for its special attention to the regions provides its 4G services not only in Baku and Absheron but in regions and centers of cities and districts as well.

Since the start of 2018, Nar has launched 4G base stations in centers of more than 30 cities and districts, and as a result, the majority of Nar subscribers have gained access to high-speed internet. For Nar subscribers, the quality of 4G services comes with the advantageous prices of Nar and thus, creates wider opportunities for the subscribers to use mobile internet.

During the year, Nar subscribers have used data traffic in the size of 3.3 million GB. That is, 36% growth observed, if compared with the figures of the last year. Of this volume, 1.3 GB data traffic was used through 4G services. As a result of works carried out in the first two quarters of 2018, 4G traffic volume in a 1 year period was 3 times larger than that of previous year.
