September 10, Fineko/abc.az. Capital repairing of the main tracks on main directions of Azerbaijani Railways (ADY) is ongoing.

ADY reports that since 18 March 40 km of the main route of railway line Alat-Osmanli-Astara has been repaired at the primary stage within the framework of North-South Project with P-65 materials.

"Overhaul of 13.4 km of railway line on Jalilabad-Masalli section is underway. Repair work is carried out by team of Specialized Railway Enterprise #5,” ADY said in a statement.

The last repair on this section was carried out in the 1960s. In accordance with the promising projects of the railway line, including taking into account the predicted-in-the-near-future intensification of movement in this direction, the work done now is of great importance.
