First suspended pedestrian crossing under construction in Baku

October 2, Fineko/abc.az. A suspended pedestrian crossing is being built in Baku for the first time.
State Road Transport Agency’s head Anar Najafli has stated that the overhead pedestrian crossing is under construction at the intersection of Moscow Avenue and The 20th January Street (so-called Shamahinka Area).

"Total length of the crossing to have three entrances-exits will be 134 m and will be glad to pass over the road tunnel on the Moscow Avenue.  Height of the crossing above the land will be 6 m and width - 3.5 m," Najafli said. 

The Agency’s head said that completion of the new crossing project is scheduled for 2019.
