October 4, Fineko/abc.az. Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov of Azerbaijan has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs & Trade Péter Szijjártó of Hungary within the framework of forum Russian Energy Week.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy reports that during the meeting the ministers discussed the situation with the Southern Gas Corridor, prospects of its expansion and increase of capacity at the next stage.

"Mr. Szijjártó said Hungary is interested in participating in the Corridor project in the future and stressed the necessity of a dialogue between the two countries’ relevant ministries," the MoE said.

The ministers also covered the matter of other directions for cooperation in the energy sector between Azerbaijan and Hungary.
