November 1, Fineko/abc.az. Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan announced the results of the third quarter of 2018 on its website. The reports show that the numbers are satisfactory, the bank provides support to the real sector, the absence of any difficulties in fulfilling its obligations and the steady growth of its capital.

According to the information at the end of the third quarter, the bank's net interest income increased by 16% compared to the same period last year, and its net profit reached 2.7 million AZN. As mentioned before, the Bank increased the volume of its credit products for the development of the real sector and provided credits by an additional 18% from the beginning of the year to the end of the third quarter. The total assets of the bank also increased. Thus, compared to the same period last year, in the third quarter of 2018 total assets increased by 24% and exceeded 500 million AZN. As in previous quarters, in this quarter the Bank apparently has no financial obligations to other financial agencies, as well as to the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Customer trust to Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan, which is a member of a banking group operating in 17 European countries, has also increased. Thus, compared to the same period last year, total deposits of the bank increased by 32% and reached 397 million AZN, as well as demand deposits of individuals, compared to the same period, increased by 18% and reached 48.9 million AZN, demand deposits of legal entities increased by 39% and reached 248.7 million AZN, term deposits of individuals and legal entities increased by 22% and amounted to 99.5 million AZN. The increase in these numbers compared to the previous period is the result of the customer trustfor the bank. It is not surprising that Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan was awarded the "Most Trust Bank of 2018" award by one of the most prestigious organizations in England Global Banking and Finance Review.

Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan also increased its capital. Thus, compared with the same period last year, the overall capital of the bank increased by 28% and amounted to 67, 894 million AZN.

It should be noted that Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan is a member of a banking group operating in 17 countries all over the world.
