Tax Minister: Online cash registers and cash limit to be introduced in Azerbaijan

November 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan has developed the proposals for introduction of tax incentives for the use of non-cash payments.

Tax Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has stated tax privileges will cover some of non-cash payments of retail trade.

"This is a method of incentive, which also requires strengthening of tax administration and provides for the introduction of a limit on the use of cash settlement. Since 2019 it is planned to use online cash registers that will allow preventing possible violations, as well as make it impossible to hide the trade turnover of the "shadow economy," Jabbarov emphasized.
