Kazakhstan supplies another locomotive to Azerbaijan

February 1, Fineko/abc.az. The next electric locomotive of Kazakhstan production has been sent from station Sorokovaya for Azerbaijan Railways (ADY).

Kazakhstan Railways - Cargo Carriages reports that the electric locomotive has made its way by rail with length of about 2,500 km to Kuryk-Port station.

"Then it was sent by ferry Merkury across the Caspian Sea to the port of Alat, " it was reported.

Freight locomotives of the AZ8A series are analog of Kazakhstan’s electric locomotive AZ8A adapted for ADY. The locomotive was assembled on the lines of "Electric Locomotive Kurastyru Zayity" in Astana.
