February 6, Fineko/abc.az. AzSigorta has deployed an operational response headquarters in Shemakha in connection with the earthquake.

The Azerbaijani insurer reports that to date, AzSigorta has already received more than 30 appeals from residents of nearby districts.

"With the purpose of prompt response to receiving appeals and conduct damage assessment in the shortest term, AzSigorta has deployed an operational response headquarters on site. To claim a loss, you can also contact phone number *6565," the insurer says.

This is not the first such experience for AzSigorta. The Company acted similarly during quakes in Imishli district in 2016 and in Sheki district in 2015.

A quake was recorded in 7 km south of Pirkuli seismic station at night on 6 February. The Republican Seismological Center reported that the quake magnitude was almost 5 points.
