Azerbaijan imported and exported goods for $2.3 bn in January

February 19, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan carried out foreign trade operations for $2.302 bn in January.

The State Statistics Committee reports that volume of imports amounted to AZN 1.022 bn and exports $1.279 bn.

Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations with 185 countries in 2018. Export operations were conducted with 113 countries and import operations with 178 countries. The total trade turnover following the past year amounted to $31.755 bn, including exports of $20.29 bn, imports $11.465 bn. As a result, positive balance in the amount of $8.825 bn formed.
