February 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and Norway’s Equinor Absheron AS signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

The Ministry reports that the Memo was signed by Deputy Energy Minister Samir Veliyev and Manager of Equinor AS Absheron in Azerbaijan Favad Guraishi.

"The Memo stipulates cooperation in the use of renewable energy sources, assessment of the potential of renewable energy sources, and creation of conditions for profitable investments in this sphere. The document will help ensure the activities in the field of development, financing, construction and operation of projects for the development of renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan," the Ministry said.
