June 19, Fineko/abc.az. Country's foreign trade turnover amounted to $10.965 bn over Jan-Apr 2019.

The State Statistics Committee reports that export value reached $6.415 bn and import value $4.549 bn, resulting in a positive balance of $1.87 bn.

Compared with the same month of 2018, in actual figures the foreign trade turnover increased by 17.7%, including imports by 50.3% and exports by 1.9%. In real terms, the turnover grew by 7.3%, including imports by 19.5% and export by 1.4%.

Exports to Italy made up 29.8%, to Turkey 10.7%, to China 7.8%, to Israel 6.3%, to Germany 5.3%, to Spain 5.1%, to India 4.7%, to France 3.6%, to the Czech Republic 3.3%, to Georgia 3.1%, Portugal 3%, to Russia 2.5%, to other countries 14.8%.

16.2% of the total value of imported products in the country accounts for Switzerland, 14.5% for Russia, 9.7% for Turkey, 8.3% for China, 5.3% for Iran, 4.6% for Germany, 4.2% for the U.S., 3.1% for Ukraine, 2.8% for Italy and Canada, 2.7% for Australia, 2.3% for Kazakhstan, and 23.5% for other countries.
