Car insurance in Azerbaijan automated fully

June 24, Fineko/abc.az. Automobiles are insured almost by 100% in Azerbaijan.

The relevant statement was made at today’s insurance event for the media by executive director of the Compulsory Insurers Bureau Rashad Ahmedov.

He pointed out that this happened after electronization of insurance of motor vehicles.

"One car can be insured only for 5,000 manats. If during the accident the car is damaged for about 7,000 manats, the driver will have to pay extra 2,000 manats at his own expense. Therefore, additional insurance is advisable. This means that in case of additional insurance, these 2,000 manats are paid," Ahmedov said.
