July 1, Fineko/abc.az. The 133rd/134th session of the Customs Cooperation Council of the World Customs Organization in Brussels ended on 29 June.

At the last meeting the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee was approved as the head of the European region.

According to the SCC, the Customs Cooperation Council, in which the heads of customs services of all member countries are represented, is the WTO Supreme Body.

As the vice president for the European region Azerbaijan will participate in the sessions of both the Council and the Political Commission on behalf of the region and will protect the interests of the customs services of the European region. The European region of the WTO is the largest region, which unites 52 countries, as well as the European Union.
