1.6 million passengers carried by rail in 2019

July 18, Fineko/abc.az. 1.6 million passengers were transported by rail for Jan-Jun of this year.

The State Statistics Committee informs that growth of passenger traffic made up 21.8%.compared with the 2018 same term.

An average of 283 wagons were and 387 wagons were unloaded loaded daily during railway carriages.

Shipment of cargo in northern direction of the railway totaled 11,200 tons, in western direction 4,300 tons, and in southern direction 700 tons a day.
