Meqa Sigorta increases authorized capital

August 5, Fineko/abc.az. An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Meqa Sigorta was held on 11 June. At the meeting the shareholders made a decision to increase the authorized capital of the Company.

In this regard, 1,700 new shares with nominal value of 5,000 manats each will be issued. The securities will be acquired by the Company's shareholders in accordance with their equity stakes. This means that the distribution of shareholders' stakes will not change.

After the placement of the new shares, the authorized capital of Meqa Sigorta will increase by AZN 8.5 million (58.6%) from AZN 14.5 million up to AZN 23 million.
