September 10, Fineko/abc.az. The number of foreign citizens who received ASAN Visa to enter Azerbaijan in August 2019 has reached a record level. So, last month, 125,424 foreign citizens from 134 countries applied to the ASAN Visa system to enter Azerbaijan. This means that in August there was the largest number of requests since the creation of ASAN Visa, as well as an increase of 24% compared to the same period in 2018.

According to ASAN Viza, in August the majority of foreigners applying for visas were the citizens of the United Arab Emirates, China, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Turkmenistan.

It is noted that in the first 8 months of 2019, the number of visas issued through ASAN Visa rose by 43% compared to the corresponding period last year.
