September 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has once again announced the results of the Monetary Policy Review.

According to the Central Bank's Monetary Policy Review for January-June, the average daily exchange rate of the manat against the US dollar for six months was AZN 1.7 manat.

Thus, the foreign exchange trading rates established by the banks showed volatility, although they were close to the official exchange rate.

The average daily purchase rate of commercial banks for 6 months was 1.6976 and the selling rate was at AZN 1.7020. The difference between the official exchange rate and the average daily trading rate of commercial banks was 0.1% (AZN 0.0024) and the selling rate was 0.1% (AZN0.002 ). During the period, the manat rose 9.2% against the Turkish lira, 0.8% against the euro, 7.3% against the Georgian lari, but the national currency fell 5.1% against the Ukrainian gryvvna, 8.9% against the Russian ruble and 2.7% against the Japanese yen.
