Oil prices complete the week with a record fall in 2 months

September 13, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are growing slightly during trading on Friday, while the fall from the beginning of this week may be a record for 2 months due to concerns about an oversupply in the market.

As a result of trading on September 12 at the London ICE Futures exchange, the price of the November Brent crude futures decreased by $0.43 (0.71%), to $60.38 per barrel. On Friday, at 9:25, the November Brent futures rose $0.05 (0.08%) to $60.43 per barrel.

As a result of trading on September 12 at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the October WTI oil futures fell $0.66 (1.18%) to $55.09 per barrel. On Friday, at 9:25 the price of the October WTI oil futures increased by $0.06 (0.11%), up to $55.15 per barrel.

Since the beginning of the week, the price of WTI has decreased by 2.7%, Brent has fallen in price by 2.1%.
