October 1, Fineko/abc.az. Tourism portal Turstat has presented the rating of the best CIS cities for rest and traveling in autumn.

Top 10 of CIS cities for tourists includes Minsk in Belarus, Astana in Kazakhstan, Almaty in Kazakhstan, Baku in Azerbaijan, Tashkent in Uzbekistan, Chisinau in Moldova, Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Dushanbe in Tajikistan and Yerevan in Armenia.
International theatre art forum TEART is taking place in Minsk from 20 September to 8 October. Chisinau will mark Wine Day on 5-6 October, while a traditional pomegranate festival will be organized in Goychay of Azerbaijan at the end of October.

According to Turstat, tourists spend from $40 to $100 per day for accommodation and food in autumn trips to cities and CIS countries and come to Minsk and Yerevan for the weekend and to Astana and Baku for shopping.
