OPEC oil production falls sharply in September

09:31 - 3.10.2019

October 3, Fineko/abc.az. Daily crude oil production by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) sharply decreased in September.

The production decline is linked with the attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia and the backlog in the Venezuelan economy.
Analysts estimate that last month OPEC oil production averaged 28.32 million barrels. This is the lowest level of cartel production in the last 10 years.
In August, OPEC oil production amounted to 2974 million bpd. OPEC's share in global oil production made up 30%.
