Economy Minister: Growth in nonoil sector for past 3 years disappoints

October 17, Fineko/abc.az. Growth in the nonoil sector over the past 3 years is disappointing. I would call the problems with financing as the main cause of that, said Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev at the economic meeting chaired by President Ilham Aliyev on 15 October.

"AZN 130 million were allocated through the Entrepreneurship Development Fund for Jan-Sept 2019 and another AZN 170 million will be given by the end of the year. But AZN 130 million or AZN 170 million are not sufficient funds for financing entrepreneurship, as the banking sector does not provide sufficient funding," the minister emphasized.
