October 23, Fineko/abc.az. As a result of the taken measures, the provision of electricity and electric meters around the country amounted to 100%, according to Azerbaijan State Budget 2020.

In 2018 Azerishig OJSC sold 16.95 bn kWh of electricity to consumers, including 6.68 bn kWh (39.4% of the total number of consumers) belongs to the population group.

According to the budget, in the 1st half of the year it was sold 8.559 bn kWh of electricity, including 3.478 bn kWh to the population group (40.6%).

Also, the number of electric consumers provided with electricity increased by 59,308 compared with 2017 and amounted to 2.613 million consumers at the end of 2018 and 2.645 million consumers as of 1 July 2019.
