December 17, Fineko/abc.az. An auction on the placement of short-term notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan will be conducted at the Baku Stock Exchange.

ABC.AZ was informed on the occasion by the BSE.

The volume of the notes put up for the auction is AZN 100 million, the nominal value of the notes is 100 manats, the circulation period is 28 days. The notes will be paid on 16 January.

The total number of orders submitted by each bank should not exceed 2 (1 competitive and 1 non-competitive).

Non-competitive orders may be accepted, provided that no more than 20% of the notes are issued during the auction. Settlements on closed transactions as a result of the auction will be carried out in the T+1 regime. Only local banks operating under license can be buyers of CBA’s short-term notes.
