We don`t plan creation of an investment company in Azerbaijan - Bank VTB (Azerbaijan) head

December 19, Fineko/abc.az. Bank VTB has no plans to establish an investment company in Azerbaijan in the near future.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Yevgeny Kirin, the head of Bank VTB (Azerbaijan), at a media conference dedicated to Bank’s activities for Jan-Oct 2019, answering a question about possible plans to establish an investment company in Azerbaijan.

Kirin noted that currently there are no plans on the occasion. He also explained the reason for that: "We have good relations with the companies with which we cooperate as a bank. We believe that it is more expedient to invest in a company than to create an investment company, and therefore the question of creating such an investment company in the near future is not actual."
