Azerbaijan’s electricity export has grown

December 28, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov of this year Azerenerji exported electricity for $75.9 million.

ABC.AZ reports the data is provided by the Export Overview of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

The report says that the indicator is by $11.7 million or 18.22% more against the 2018 same term.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan exchanges electricity with Russia, Georgia, Turkey and Iran. Since 1 May 2019 Azerbaijan has been exporting electricity to Greece through Georgia and Turkey, as well as to Romania and Hungary through Georgia, Turkey, and Bulgaria.
