January 8, Fineko/abc.az. Political and military tensions between the U.S. and Iran, along with oil prices, have also led to a rise in the US dollar.

For example, the killing of the commander of the special forces Al-Quds in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Gen. Qasem Suleimani, as a result of missile strikes carried out by the U.S. some time ago at the airport in Baghdad, further aggravated the tension between the parties.

ABC.AZ reports that after this event both countries made very serious accusations against each other that increased activity in the world financial markets. These events, the increase in the probability of war between the U.S. and Iran cause a rise in price on the world's gold and dollar exchanges.

Experts believe that the statements of the parties in connection with military actions and similar calls every hour will further increase the value of the US dollar. Precisely that is why the world's financial giants are currently looking at the U.S. and Iranian governments. Thus, the statements of official Washington and Tehran are in the focus of investors' attention.
