February 11, Fineko/abc.az. This January oil production amounted to 769,000 bpd in Azerbaijan, including 678,000 barrels of crude oil and 91,000 barrels of condensate. Daily export totaled 540,000 barrels of crude oil, 87,000 barrels of condensate, and 22,300 barrels of oil products.

ABC.AZ was informed this data at the Ministry of Energy.

The Ministry submitted information on daily oil production for January to the Joint Technical Commission of the OPEC Joint Monitoring Committee.

At the 7th meeting of the ministers of OPEC and non-OPEC countries on 6 December 2019 a decision was made on the reduction of oil production by OPEC+ by 500,000 bpd. In accordance with the new Declaration on Cooperation Azerbaijan's obligations have been increased by 7,000 barrels and set at 27,000 barrels. By the end of the 1st quarter 2020 Azerbaijan should maintain daily oil production in the amount of 769,000 barrels.
