I’m thankful for all the support provided by the U.S. to both the Southern Gas Corridor and all energy projects of regional and global significance implemented on the initiative of Azerbaijan. Thanks to this significant cooperation, the SGC will be fully ready in the fall of 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov during a meeting with a delegation led by Kurt Donnelly, US Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Diplomacy.

In the course of the meeting Mr. Donnelly assessed the SHC as an important project for energy security, uniting numerous countries and companies, and congratulated Azerbaijan on the implementation of such a huge project.
