Oil rises in price after falling a day earlier

March 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are rising during the trading on Thursday after decline the day before.

On Wednesday, the OPEC+ Monitoring Committee made no recommendations following the meeting.

At the end of trading on 4 March at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of May’s futures for Brent oil fell by $0.73 (1.41%) to $51.13 per barrel. By 9:25 am, Brent futures for May rose by $0.74 (1.45%) up to $51.87 per barrel.

At the end of trading on 4 March at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), April’s WTI oil futures declined in price by $0.40 (0.85%), ending the day at $46.78 per barrel. By 9:25 am, WTI futures for April grew by $0.59 (1.26%) up to $47.37 per barrel.

Azerbaijani crude oil Azeri Light decreased by $0.31 (0.57%) to $54.32 per barrel.
