Statement about 930 employees of closed Atabank and Amrahbank left without work

16:04 - 1.05.2020

May 1, Fineko/abc.az. It is not yet known how the fate of the employees of AtaBank and AmrahBank, whose licenses were canceled by the Central Bank, will develop further.

Along with the fact that the employees of the above-mentioned banks lost their jobs, it is not ruled out that they had a number of responsibilities in their former position. For example, we all know that employees of these banks primarily try to take advantage of profitable campaigns offered by banks from time to time. And now when employees are out of work, it becomes difficult for them to repay their loans.

What will happen to the obligations of employees who have lost their jobs? How will they repay their loans, and will they receive benefits?

We applied with this question to MP Vugar Bayramov.

The MP did not say anything specific to ABC.AZ, but noted that ex-employees will receive insurance compensation payments: "Naturally, they may have obligations. It is possible that they have credit and other obligations. But, of course, if they leave their jobs under current legislation, they receive unemployment insurance. At a certain time, they will try to pay their expenses with this payment. Naturally, even during this period, the goal is to provide them with work. From this angle, the main thing is that they can be provided with work while receiving unemployment insurance. There should be no difficulty in fulfilling these obligations. But they do not apply special benefits when paying for a loan."

The number of employees of AtaBank, whose license was canceled, was 380, and Amrahbank - 550.
