May 13, Fineko/abc.az. All five of the arrested heads of executive authorities were engaged in an ugly business.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev made such a statement during 13 May reception of Azer Gojayev in a video format in connection with his appointment as chief executive of Kelbajar district.

The head of state said that currently within the lockdown regime the State Budget allocates financial support designed to ensure that people who cannot find a job today could receive at least a salary at the level of the minimum wage.

"And they (arrested heads of executive powers) misappropriated those finances. They can't get enough. This is a disease, and a mechanism has already been launched to eliminate this disease. I’ve warned you several times and openly stated that if you do not come to your senses, your case will be bad and you will be punished. But some thought it was none of their business. Some assumed they were above the law. Or they hoped that their patrons, the officials who had supported them for years, would help them. Theft of payment cards and social assistance is a small part of their crimes," the country’s president underlined.
