Over AZN 47 million of two closed banks returned for 10 days

June 11, Fineko/abc.az. On 1 June 2020 the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund started paying compensations on deposits of AtaBank and Amrahbank that are in the process of liquidation.

ABC.AZ was informed at in the Fund that the depositors of AtaBank and Amrahbank received compensation for insured deposits in the amount of AZN 47.1 million on June 1-10.

Payment of compensations to AtaBank and Amrahbank’s depositors on insured deposits is carried out in a non-cash form via debit cards of Kapital Bank OJSC and the Khazri fast money transfer system in 35 branches.
