Oil prices rise amid gradual recovery of demand at world market

June 19, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are growing on Friday amid optimism about a gradual rebalancing of supply and demand in the world market.

By 9:15 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for August increased in price by $0.35 (0.84%) up to $41.86 a barrel. Following the trading on 18 June the price of Brent futures for August rose by $0.80 (1.97%) up to $41.51 per barrel.

By 9:15 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI futures for July rose in price by $0.34 (0.88%) up to $39.18 a barrel. At the end of trading on 18 June the WTI futures for July rose by $0.88 (2.27%) up to $38.84 a barrel.
