BP not to stop its exploration activity in Azerbaijan

July 2, Fineko/abc. az. Despite the termination of prospecting and exploration projects in a range of countries, British company BP is going to continue exploration in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by BP's Vice President for External Relations & Strategy in Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey, Bakhtiar Aslanbeyli.

According to the vice president, an exploration well has been drilled at the Shafag-Asiman offshore block. They plan to finish the work by the end of this year, and after that the issue of production will be considered.
