A pilot project on animal husbandry launched

July 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Scientific & Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and the Republican Center for Artificial Insemination have launched a new pilot project with the purpose to develop the animal husbandry in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ was informed about this at the Ministry of Agriculture. The goal of the project is to increase productivity by preserving the breed of animals.

According to the Center for Artificial Insemination, the obtained seeds allow growing highly productive breeds in a subsidiary experimental farm of the Institute.

A Shvis calf weighing 42 kg has been obtained within the framework of the project.
