July 3, Fineko/abc.az. In May of this year the polypropylene plant of SOCAR Polymer LLC, located on the territory of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, produced about 611 tons of polypropylene HB 2,662 FS, suitable for fabrication of medical masks.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to news agency Report that this was informed by Ibrahim Akhmedov, deputy head of the SOCAR Department of Events & Public Relations.

He added that after the production of the next test batch of this type of polymer in August, it is planned to produce at least 1 500-2 000 tons of products.

Akhmedov noted that after a market research, the necessary production volumes will be clarified and approved.
