July 6, Fineko/abc.az. The protection of 910,000 public sector jobs has been ensured during the pandemic.

ABC.AZ reports that this was announced by Minister of Labor & Social Protection Sahil Babayev.

The minister also noted that work is underway on keeping of jobs in the private sector. According to the minister, even in the private sector the number of labor contracts increased by 110,000 or 17% compared to the beginning of this year.

Babayev pointed out that currently the private sector is numbering employees working on 750,000 labor contracts: "And the rate of labor contracts in the public and private sector has increased by 7%. The growth of labor contracts is observed due to the reduction of the shadow economy and the legalization of informal employment. The growth of employment contracts has also led to an increase in the salary fund."
