TikTok may be banned in U.S.

July 7, Fineko/abc.az. The US government is considering the matter of blocking China’s Tiktok app in the country.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to RIA Novosti that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in an interview with Fox News.

The reason for this step by the US authorities is the possibility of transferring the data of users of the social network to the Chinese government.

“As for Chinese apps installed on smartphones, I assure you that the U.S. will take the necessary measures," Pompeo said.
