July 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan issued a statement in connection with the dissemination of information in the Armenian media about the capture of the Garagay hill, located in the direction of the village of Agdam, Tovuz district, by military units of a hostile country.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of Defence Ministry’s press service, Col. Vagif Dargyakhly, said that this information is not true.

According to the Ministry’s spokesman, the photo distributed along with the misinformation indicated that it was taken on 12 December 2018: "This fact alone proves that the information is incorrect. Once again, we ask our people, including the media and social media users, to refer only to the official data of the Ministry of Defence."
