Microsoft starts negotiations to acquire American segment of TikTok

August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Donald Trump has announced that he will ban Chinese social media platform TikTok in his country if it is not sold to an American company.

ABC.AZ reports that Trump gave time to Microsoft until 15 September to deal with that.

The US leader has tasked to take over the management in China’s Tik-Tok operating on the territory of the United States by a company that belongs to the U.S.

To this end, Microsoft has already started research on the purchase of the American segment of Tik-Tok.
