September 11, Fineko/abc.az. As of 10 September compensations were paid to 21,934 depositors for up to AZN 515 million on the last four banks (AG Bank, NBC Bank, Amrah Bank and Ata Bank), closed by the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the ADIF that from 16 June to 10 September 2020 the International Bank of Azerbaijan paid more than AZN 180 million of compensation to depositors of AG Bank and NBC Bank which are in the process of liquidation.

3,804 depositors of AG Bank were compensated AZN 70.3 million and 3,770 depositors of NBC Bank – AZN 109.68 million. From 1 June to 10 September Kapital Bank paid over AZN 334.8 million in compensation to depositors of Amrah Bank and Ata Bank who are in the process of liquidation. For the reporting period the amount of payments to depositors totaled AZN 129.67 million on Amrah Bank and to 8,902 depositors of Ata Bank – AZN 205.14 million.

The ADIF is finishing the payment of compensations to depositors on the last closed banks.

The full payment process will be completed as soon as possible in accordance with the procedure established by law.
