October 6, Fineko/abc.az. From 16 June to 15 October 2020 the International Bank of Azerbaijan paid over AZN 193.9 million of compensations to depositors of AGBank and NBC Bank which are in the process of liquidation.

ABC.AZ reports that the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund compensated AZN 79.87 million to 4,178 depositors of AGBank and AZN 114.04 million to 3,959 depositors of NBC Bank. From 1 June to 5 October Kapital Bank paid more than AZN 345.91 million of compensations to depositors of Amrahbank and Atabank which are in the process of liquidation.

5,581 depositors of Amrahbank were paid compensations in the amount of AZN 132.6 million and while 9,208 depositors of Atabank – AZN 213.3 million. As of 5 October, all the four closed banks’ 22,926 depositors were compensated for over AZN 539.8 million.
